Gabriela shared a program full with Brazilian and Venezuelan composers, combined with newer US compositions. 

She is attuned to New York's new music scene, and included short pieces by Missy Mazzoli (“Heartbreaker”), Caroline Shaw (“Gustave Le Gray”) and Sarah Kirkland Snider (“The Currents”) to highlight and champion the work of female composers.
